THE LAWYER


The lawyer represents the victim, the the accused, the defendant and the civil party, on the basis of knowledge relating to

legal procedures, carrying out, for his client, the judicial acts that are appropriate and necessary for his defense.
The lawyer is a professional, graduated in law and licensed to practice the legal profession.
Is called “independent lawyer” the lawyer appointed directly by the client.
Is called “court-appointed lawyer” the lawyer appointed by the Judicial Authority to assist the suspect or the accused person who does not currently have a defense counsel;
both are at the customer’s expense.
The lawyer at the expense of the state is assigned to the party who is in a state of poverty (free legal aid).

FREE LEGAIL AID (GRATUITO PATROCINIO)

The requirements for access to legal aid provide that the person has a family income of less than € 11,493.82 plus € 1,032.91 for each of the family members living together (including the instant).
To access free legal aid, the person concerned must submit a specific request, drawn up on plain paper and signed
personally. The victims of some crimes: crimes against family members and cohabitants; genital mutilation practices feminine; sexual violence; sexual acts with minors; group sexual violence; stalking; reduction or maintenance in slavery, if committed against minors; child prostitution; child pornography; tourism initiatives aimed at the exploitation of prostitution juvenile; trafficking in persons, if committed to the detriment of minors; purchase and sale of slaves, if committed against minors; corruption of underage; solicitation of minors, they can benefit from the Free Legal Aid even beyond the indicated income limits.
